A comprehensive 90-minute hearing assessment combined with a one-to-one consultation to discuss what your results mean for you and explore your hearing aid options. Carried out by Matthew, an MSc Audiologist, the appointment includes a video otoscopy examination of your ears, tympanometry to check your middle ear function, a pure tone hearing test in our sound booth, and speech-in-noise testing to assess how well you follow conversation in background noise. We'll talk you through your results in plain English and explain your options across all leading hearing aid brands, tailored to your lifestyle and budget.
A 60-minute, in-depth diagnostic hearing assessment carried out by an MSc Audiologist — significantly more thorough than a standard high-street check. The appointment includes a video otoscopy examination of your ear canal and eardrum, tympanometry to check your middle ear function, a pure tone hearing test across a full range of pitches and volumes, and speech-in-noise testing to assess real-world listening ability. This option is ideal if you want a detailed, fully mapped picture of your hearing without a hearing aid discussion — for example, if you're monitoring a known condition, want a baseline check, or need documented results. We can provide a written report of your results, which can be used to support a referral to your GP or an ENT specialist if needed.
Please note this appointment is only suitable for those 18 and over.
Professional and gentle ear wax removal, conducted by an experienced Audiologist.
Fees & Payment: The fee is £59, which covers one or both ears. Please note that this fee applies to the clinical appointment time and ear health assessment regardless of whether wax is found (see below for the one exception). Payment is taken at the end of your session.
Preparation: For the safest and most comfortable results, please apply olive oil spray (such as Earol) twice daily for 2 to 5 days leading up to your appointment. Earol is an ideal choice, as it helps soften wax for dry (microsuction) removal. Please do not apply olive oil if you have a known perforation of the eardrum.
If No Wax is Found: If your ears are clear, we will utilise your remaining appointment time to conduct a hearing screening, check your overall ear health, and provide professional advice or a referral if needed. If you would prefer to end the appointment early instead, a reduced £25 ear check fee will apply.
Pricing (payment in person, after appointment only): £50 - Impressions Only: Take-away impressions to post to your own manufacturer. £155 - Custom Protection: Includes impressions and finished plugs (Sleep, Swim, Work, or Music). £TBC - Specialty Products: In-Ear Monitors and other custom items.
Terms & Voucher Info Hours & Age: Available 11am – 3pm only. Strictly 18+. Vouchers (including ACS): we no longer accept vouchers.
